Rule Britannia

General chit-chat and banter...

Rule Britannia

Hello all

I'll keep this brief as its a "charidee" note. I'm not usually one for racing to raise money but in just over a week I'll be representing Great Britain at the World Long Distance Triathlon Championships in the Netherlands and as its my first time in a world final, I thought it would be the perfect moment to try and raise some money for some great people who are doing important work.
I have never yet met anyone whose life hasn't been touched by cancer in some way, whether personally or through friends and family. It is certainly something that has touched my life, so this is my chance to do something small to help the people who have, over the years, helped so many members of my family.

I'll be swimming 4k, cycling 120k and running 30k and trying hard to win a medal for the old country - but more importantly I'll be trying to raise at least £1000 for the Geoff Thomas Foundation which funds research into Leukemia. Any support you are able to give would be very, very much appreciated and you can sponsor me by clicking on the link below.

See you on the road

Brunty
