Longest I've ever run is 13.1 miles so 15 would kill me!

I'm looking to do about 8-10 miles(ish) on Sun a.m. if anyone is interested. About 8-8.5 min/mile pace and no quicker!

I'm a new member at Northbrook, I joined just before Xmas so this is a great way to find people to train with (I hope).

JSW - no idea what your name is as I haven't been down the club since the Godiva HM
I am VERY interested in 10miles at 8min pace this Sunday though. I've got a Garmin so I can guarantee we won't be going any quicker than that pace.
Are you going to be there this Sunday morning at 10?

JSW, 8- 10 miles would suit me great, as long as it's closer to 8.30min/mile pace than 8 ! :)

James, that pace sounds good to me also, after killing myself on level 2 a couple of Wednesdays ago I need to get going sensibly again. 10am at the club sounds good, will the normal changing rooms be open as on a Wed?

Hodgey, the J in JSW stands for John, I joined the club mid December after getting hooked training for the Godiva which I ran for charity. Will shout 'whos hodgey' in the changing rooms on Sunday if you like?

re training runs: don't forget the old gits who turn up every sunday morning 11am for a very sensible 5 mile run and a sociable drink afterwards (pari passu)

to save any embarassment, here's what I look like:

a skinny, tall, bald headed muppet!

Mind you, if the weather looks mega icy, rainy or there's loads of snow about I won't be there  I believe the term "fair weather runner" can be fairly aimed at me......

FAR too sensible an idea
I'll be there at just before 10 unless the conditions are too foul. Much easier
