Sorry this is late in the day but if any other Northbrook-ers are doing this then if you fancy lift sharing then come and see me tomorrow night at the 5k or send me a message either through here or via Fetch or Facebook.

I did 1h30m53s - not that great, was aiming at 1h28 but slowed up over last 2 or 3 miles. Not a bad race but not really worth the travel over. The only reason I did it was it a good try out for Nottingham Marathon on Sept 14th.
Winner knocked out a 1h09 with quite a few locals up in the results - Godiva had Scott Hazell in 4th with 1h11m01 and Kenilworth had Stuart Hopkins in 15th with 1h17m32.
Overall I came 124th out of 863. First local Newark runner home got a Breitling Watch worth £1500
