Club Kit

Postby alix on Thu Feb 21, 2008 9:46 am

okie, going to try out one of those poll thingies to see how it works.... (no clicking on all of them and messing my results up now....)

have been costing up some kit (with some work still to do!).... if anyone has a link to printers / stockists it would be great to know - have been having a chat with Coventry Runner etc etc....

sweatshirts / hooded sweatshirts would be black, (although I did quite like Dave's green and yellow Northbrook hoodie he was wearing on Sunday at draycote - will add a piccie later!) have the northbrook badge embroidered on them, have Northbrook AC printed on the back and the option of your name embroidered on the front. Would be around £18 for a sweatshirt and £23 for a hodded top.

running tops (Ron Hill long sleeved) would probably have Northbrook AC printed on the back... Price TBC.

what would folks be interested in.....??????

Any other requests / ideas please add below :D

I went for the option of a hoodie being the chav that I am! 8)
All the other stuff I've already got so wouldn't need more of, even if it was club kit.
The hoodie is the ideal pre/post race kit. Nice and warm and would look good all the time. They tend to hold their shape better than sweatshirts I've found and I reckon we'd look smart at races if we wore this stuff.
Like the idea of our names on the front.

Put me down for one :D

http://www.impsport.com/impsport/corpor ... ducts.html (go into "sweats" then "hoodie sweats"

Impsport are a clothing company that deal with cycling kit for lots of the clubs in the UK but they also won the contract to kit out the entire 2006 Commonwealth Games England squad across all the sports for both sports and leisure wear
They're good guys to deal with from all accounts. Is it worth trying them?
They're based up in Lincoln

We used a local firm for embroidery & screen printing - Guards of Fashion 76 London Road , Coventry, CV1 2JT - Tel: 024-7625-1115 (Can't find a website) They might be worth a ring.

This reminds me - cc's signature line "pari passu" would be good to incorporate on the back under the words: "Northbrook AC". It's nice that the club has a motto and I think it should be incorporated into club kit as much as possible....
