11th - 17th February

Fancy some company on a run???? Post details here...

11th - 17th February

Postby alix on Sun Feb 10, 2008 11:33 pm

it's the draycote 35 ultra next sunday, (17th), so looks like there's going to be a few folks heading over there to do long runs while supporting/watching some of the others....

bonus of this is that folks can come over and join in for as little/as much as they like....

each lap is about 5 miles long..... so how about we meet at 10am in the carpark and then can head off.... will be lots of other runners there too, but will be good to watch and support the other runners.

I'm looking at doing 17, so company welcome :D

and there's the cafe for cake and tea at the end too :D :D :D

will confirm time when spoken to others....

Sounds like a good plan Alix. I've got a 15-miler planned for Sunday, so I'll join you for 3 laps. :)

After a dreadful performance on Sunday in the Wyre Forest I need to get some distance in my legs so I should be ok for three laps or so......or two.....or one..........

Won't be there tonight as my new running shoes have left me with a very painful blister on the ball of my right foot.
I am still planning on doing 2-3 laps on Sunday at Draycote so will see everyong in the car park at 10am.

AS it looks like I can't go for my long run on Saturday I think I might join you for 15 miles or so.

We can also cheer on the nutters who are completing all 35 miles

Clearly the 'car park' refers to the 'Draycote Water Car Park' and not the 'Jaguar Sports & Social CLub Car Park'! Must remember these little details in the future!

Legs hurt from DIY yesterday anyway so will go for a run later......when it is warmer.....and I haven't agreed to meet anyone in the wrong car park later either!!
